Free Webinar: Warm-Ups and Follow-Ups for August 31st 2016
If you haven’t already signed up for my free “Brain-Based Presenting” webinar, sponsored by HRDQ, consider joining me, and an enthusiastic group of global trainers, on August 31st 2016 for an hour of exciting, brain-based learning.
The sponsoring company, HRDQ, has an excellent reputation as a developer of research-based instructional materials to help improve the learning and performance of individuals, teams, and organizations. On HRDQ’s website, you will find dozens of free webinars, as well as for-purchase training games, assessments, workshops, and simulations for instructor-led classroom learning, and e-learning and e-assessments for distance learning. HRDQ’s primary audience includes corporate trainers, classroom teachers, human resource professionals, educational institutions, and independent consultants.
If you have decided to attend my free webinar on August 31st, below is a useful handout to download, print, and to have at-hand to write on for this interactive, brain-based learning experience:
Just a reminder: If you sign up for the free webinar but, at the last minute, are unable to attend, you can still access the webinar presentation and slides which HRDQ will post for registered participants after the webinar is over. Then you can watch and listen at your leisure.
If you haven’t signed up, consider using a note-taking handout, like the one I created for this webinar, for your own training topics. On one side are “Warm-Ups” and “Follow-Ups” – resources for your training participants to explore before and after your training event.
On the other side are note-taking boxes for your participants to fill in. The boxes on my handout are relevant to my webinar content. My webinar participants will experience and collect more than a dozen brain-based strategies to use with any audience and any topic.
“Warm-Ups” are resources that help get the brain ready to learn before a training event. Brain-scientists call these “priming” activities.
“Follow-Ups” are resources that help move new learning into long-term memory. Brain scientists call these “spaced practice” activities.
Both “Warm-Ups” and “Follow-Ups” are important parts of successful, brain-based instruction, whether online or face-to-face.
I hope you will join me for a highly interactive, unique, and unforgettable brain-based learning experience on August 31st. Click HERE for all the details and registration information for this free webinar. And be sure to download and print the handout above.
Also, consider joining me for my last 2016 “Training from the BACK of the Room!” train-the-trainer class, and “The Trainer Certification Course” that will be held in Nashville, Tennessee in October.
