Unfortunately, beginning with a course introduction and explanation of the course agenda or syllabus, learning objectives or goals, and other introductory information does not engage learners. It only reinforces the traditionally routine and boring nature of most e-learning courses. Put all this information second, after your learners have written what they already know and what they want to learn about the topic.
